A fantastic piece of vintage Kodak advertising, this illuminated wall clock was made by PAM Clock Co. of New Rochelle, New York in 1962. The face features the classic “Pictures are priceless — use Kodak film” slogan in bold red lettering, with gold accents and a brass-tone metal frame.
The clock has a built-in illuminated face that gives it the unmistakable look of mid-century camera shop and photo lab advertising. Large black 3, 6, 9, and 12 numerals, period-style hands, and the oversized Kodak logo make it an especially great display piece for a photo studio, darkroom, camera collection, or vintage advertising collection.
The bottom of the face is marked “PAM CLOCK CO., INC., NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. © ’62 MADE IN U.S.A.” The original-style corded construction and metal rear housing are present.
