The Nikon F is one of the defining professional 35mm SLRs of the film era. Built around a rugged, fully mechanical camera body, its modular design allows interchangeable finders, focusing screens, backs, and motor drives.

Paired with the classic Nikkor-P Auto 105mm f/2.5, this is a particularly nice period Nikon setup. The 105mm's combination of a relatively fast f/2.5 aperture and short-telephoto focal length made the lens especially well suited to portraiture.
